In questi giorni, finalmente, sono arrivati un pò di pacchetti di cose ordinate qua e là.
Sono arrivati i quaderni della Chronicle books, questa casa editrice californiana pubblica moltissime cose, quelle che attirano sempre la mia attenzione sono i quaderni, cartoline, etichette, post it di illustratori uno più magico dell'altro!
Ho una vera e propria passione per la carta, per lo scrivere a mano, per gli odori e umori che ne scaturiscono.
Questa passione è collegata anche all'attesa del pacchettino che deve arrivare via posta e la sorpresa nell'aprirlo, anche per questo mi piace moltissimo disegnare le mie cartoline e immaginarmele che viaggiano per il mondo, per giungere in posti che io non vedrò mai, ma dove sarà arrivato un pezzettino di me.
Intanto che aspettavo ho sistemato anche la mia collezione di tessuti, da contemplare e da monito per ricordarmi i progetti che ho in testa.
Foglio su foglio, strato su strato, filo su filo.

These days, finally, arrived some packages of things ordered here and there.
I got some Chronicle books notebooks , these Californian publisher make lot of stuff, the ones that always attract my attention are notebooks, postcards, labels, post-it of illustrators, one more magical than the others!
I have a real passion for paper, for handwriting, the smells and moods that it brings.
This passion is also connected to the expectation of the mailed packet and the surprise opening it, for this I also love drawing my postcards and imagine them traveling the world, to reach the places that I'll never be able to see, but where a little piece of me will arrive.
While I waited I also arranged my collection of fabrics, to contemplate it and as a warning to remind me of the projects I have in mind.
Paper to paper, layer to layer, wire to wire.
